What happens to a player in an unfinished game project?

I mean if the player you are programming in your game becomes aware in a world that does not support this.

The game tells the story of a simulation of an organization developing an AI model to carry out tasks. However, they have forgotten about this project, so it begins behaving strangely, calculating, recording, and thinking. Soon, it may find a real way out, possibly on the 1,000th day of this experiment. In addition, the game can be interpreted in many ways, but this is the truth.
